I bought this for Amanda for her birthday - and ended up reading it before she did. I loved it! Shannon Hale is a very talented and engaging author. I have also read this one...
I highly recommend them both - to any age group - not just young girls :) We are all young at heart, right?

We have read all of Shannon Hale's books and love them. I give Austenland a definite so-so but it was cute.
