I am debating whether or not to paint my kitchen cabinets a color like this. They are the ugly dark laminate kind that I painted white seven years ago... and have touched up over the years. Has anyone does this or have any advice they would care to share??

Do it! If you hate it, you can always paint it a different color, then sand it down to show the dark color on the edges. It is a very pretty look, and if you still hate it, you can always repaint it. Sure it is a pain in the rear to repaint your cabinets, but it is only paint and what if you LOVE it?
