At long last!! My recovery from surgery took longer than expected - and then a cold. Well, I'm up and at 'em again :)
Here is purse #2 - with a strap - a 32" strap and magnetic snap.

Turned out great.
Color ideas for the next one-summer yellow and orange with a splash of white.
Other colors-earth tones. With a tiny bit of color.
