A First... at last :)

I recently finished this quilt. I followed a great tutorial from ohfransson! She is an amazing quilter and was kind enough to post a quilt a long on her blog.
Here is my finished product... or at least part of it (if anyone has good tips for taking pictures of quilts, please feel free to share :)

The first on this quilt was the back - it was pieced - my first. I must say I am happy with it.

This is also the first quilt I have ever used linen on and I really do like the texture and look it adds (the white pieces are the linen).

I am working toward my 100th post! I think only four or so more to go. I will be opening an etsy shop (what is etsy you ask? Handmade good - click here to see etsy) and will celebrate with a giveaway - so stay tuned for that.

Have a cozy day :)

That is so beautiful! I LOVE the colors! Did you do all the quilting on your machine or did you send it out? I just cannot machine quilt to save my life!

Yes - I did it. isn't it pretty pricey to send it out? It actually is one of my favorite parts making the quilt...
